The "USD 2 Million Export Tower" that EXPORUM received at the 62nd Trade Day is the first such achievement by a private company in Korea's MICE industry, carrying even greater significance as an official government commendation administered by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea International Trade Association.
EXPORUM's "USD 2 Million Export Tower" recognizes its successful organization of exhibitions across diverse industries domestically, as well as its remarkable achievements in overseas markets such as France, Japan, Vietnam, and China, which it has entered since 2010. Through numerous flagship exhibitions including the Seoul Cafe Show, Korea Expo, Smart Tech Korea (STK), and Education Korea, EXPORUM has pursued the internationalization, branding, and scaling-up of exhibitions, steadily contributing to domestic SMEs' overseas market development, the building of global buyer networks, and the strengthening of K-brands' export competitiveness.
In particular, the award recognizes EXPORUM's establishment of a new "export model" based on the exhibition industry through the overseas expansion of its own exhibition brands, and its faithful role as an "export platform company" supporting exhibitions in generating tangible results in global markets.
Alongside this, EXPORUM is accelerating its leap into a global MICE-Tech company.
Last August, EXPORUM filed core technology patents related to "AI-based business matching," "exhibition management and impact measurement," and "hybrid exhibition management servers"—all directly tied to exhibition operations and digital transformation—and is driving the building of a sustainable exhibition ecosystem through AI- and data-based exhibition service innovation, the construction of online MICE platforms, and the development of new digital business models.
