A milestone in the leap forward of a global MICE-Tech company… Strengthening the role of a domestic company export platform



Exporum, a specialized exhibition company, was recently selected as a ‘Certified Trading Company’ designated by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).

The ‘Certified Trading Company’ system is designated by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy/KOTRA for small and medium-sized companies with export capabilities and a global network, and links various supports such as export vouchers, overseas marketing, and expansion of global sales channels. Through this designation, Expo Forum will be granted the qualification as a professional trading company until June 30, 2028.

Based on its experience in successfully operating major global industrial exhibitions in France, Japan, Vietnam, and China, Expo Forum has grown into a MICE specialized company centered on industrial content. In particular, recently, through digital transformation and ESG-based operation strategies, we are actively pursuing the transformation into a technology-based ‘MICE-Tech’ company that goes beyond traditional MICE.

The company official said, “This designation as a specialized trading company is an important turning point that goes beyond simple external expansion and is closely linked to the global platform strategy that Xforum is pursuing,” and added, “We plan to expand practical export linkages and promotional support through exhibitions so that promising domestic industries and companies can enter overseas markets.”

Meanwhile, Xforum has presented a new global MICE platform model that combines cultural content, digital technology, and ESG philosophy beyond exhibitions by hosting the ‘World of Coffee Asia’ held for the first time in Busan in 2024.
